Home of Revival & Artful Utility
The Neb Studiolo is a space of transmission, a bridge between the hand and the sacred and between memory and renewal. It is a contemporary atelier, inspired by the renaissance Italian studiolo where my work unites heritage and innovation, guided by a single intention: to honour what already exists and to reveal the quiet poetry within noble materials no longer claimed.
My practice is divided into two arts: the art of revival and the art of renewal.
The Art of Revival: Restoration
My philosophy was shaped through years spent in the quiet halls of Parisian heritage interiors and the focused calm of fine English workshops. There, I learned that patience is a form of understanding. This understanding is the heart of my restoration work.
Each month, I begin a journey with one forgotten creation. Its story unfolds at it’s own rhythm whether it is over months, or over years my main concern is to show respect to each pieces.
The entire revival finds its voice in the Neb Studiolo Carnets, a meeting place for craftsmanship, history, and reflection.
The Art of Renewal: Artcycling
In this practice, I create ritual objects and small sanctuaries for daily life. Each piece begins with rescued materials, noble offcuts and remnants sourced with care from exceptional craft workshops.
What others might see as waste becomes my starting point for transformation. I give form to what remains, not as an imitation of what was, but as a genuine renewal. These creations « altar trays, incense holders, sculpted pieces etc… » are both useful and contemplative, crafted to bring warmth, balance, and a moment of reflection into the spaces we inhabit.

My Practice
My work is centered on the principles of restoration, transformation, and transmission. It is expressed through three core practices:
Antique Restoration
With two decades of experience in cabinet making, heritage joinery and conservation, I undertake the meticulous restoration of antique furniture and objects. My approach is one of reverence, aiming to honour the original piece while preserving its history and integrity.
Sustainable Artcycling
I create unique sculptural pieces from reclaimed noble materials. This practice of ‘artcycling’ transforms the forgotten into the treasured, giving new life and form to materials with a past. Each piece is a testament to sustainable creation and timeless design.
Workshops & Retreats
The Nebstudiolo is more than a space for craft—it is a sanctuary for quiet contemplation and effortless connection. No prior experience or age limit is required; these sessions are for everyone.
Situated in the stunning tranquility of Northumberland, a region historically known for spiritual retreat, which perfectly reinforces the grounding and restorative power of our work.
I host intimate, hands-on workshops and retreats for individuals and groups seeking to learn ancestral skills in a focused, contemplative setting. I adapt each workshop to your specific needs for personal growth, intimate elevation, and deep grounding.
